Experiences
Graduated from Shaanxi Hanzhong Agricultural school
1981 , Baozhong
Lu
was allotted to work in Yang County Forestry Station.
In March of 1981, he was selected and appointed to enter Northwestern
University for further studying on Protection and Management of wild
animals
for three months, later began to the protection research work of wild
Crested
Ibis.
In 1983 , Yang County Crested Ibis Protection and Observation Station
established, he was appoint to be the Station Master;
He went to Japan to study on research protection on Ibis and breeding
technology artificially in 1990;
He successively went to Hong Kong , Japan to study the advanced
technology
on the Wetland Reserve and management of wild animals in 1994.
Outstanding Achievement
1981-
-1984, Under the guidance of Yinzeng Liu (China discovery people
of
Crested Ibis) , Baozhong Lu led
3 staff and tracked and observed
the
Crested Ibis in wild, and made preliminary research on the life
habits of
Crested Ibis and activity rule and feed artificial.
1986 --In 1994, taking the practical problem
from a
lot
of work, he again with researcher of the
Northwestern
Endangered Animal Research
Institute,
Dongchou Shi, researched specially on
Crested
Ibises for 8 years.
1995 –2000, he presided and unfolded the Research
on
the Rescue and Raise and Breeding Artificially of
Crested
Ibis
In addition, he finished, the project of
GEF, the Research on the Structure and Dynamic of Crested Ibis
population,
meanwhile, he also finished the Research on Prevention Parasitic
Disease of Crested Ibis under
China Wild Animal Protection Association
