Senior engineer Yange Yong works in Shaanxi

Foping National Nature Reserve.

He is a member of Chinese Animal Society,

and a member of Shaanxi Photography Institute.
In 1973, he attended the Shaanxi Biology Resource Survey Group to survey the Giant Panda in

Qinling Mountains, so far, has been studying the Giant Panda for over 30 Years. He is the incumbent

director of Panda Biodiversity Research Center of Shaanxi Foping National Nature Reserve.

In 1979, he joined in
the work preparing to construct
the Foping Nature Reserve,
after then, engages in the study
on nature protection and Wild
Animal Ecology.

Finding droppings of Giant Panda
In February to June, 1982, he attended in the International Research on Ecology of the Giant Panda at

Wu Yi Peng in Wolong Reserve, Sichuan.

Survey in wild
From Apirl to October, 1987,
qua a expert on Breeding Giant Panda
he betook the Antwerp Royal Zoo
in Belgium to guide the exhibition
on Giant Panda.
In 1998, he presided scientific research subject "Study of Orientation Inspect

Standard Method on Wild Animal Resource", supported by Global Entironment Found
In September, 1999,
he engaged by
National Forest Department
to be a committeeman of
the expert committee
of the Third Giant Panda
Survey in China.

And in 2000, he attended the International Proseminar on Giant Panda in San Diego, U.S.A.
Since 1979, he published
successively over 20 disquisitions
and over 30 research articles
on science publications
like Animal Management Magazine,
L.A. Univercity Transaction,
and
Zoology Transaction, Animal
Transaction
etc..

published.

Help NHK of Japan to shoot pandas in wild

From 1996, he frequently wins prize of the top of Excellent Paper awarded by National Forest

Department. In 2001, he won the top prize of Science and Technology Progress awarded by Shaanxi

National Forest Department.
