A Natural Miracle -- Giant Panda's Group Breeding Foping Nature Reserve in Shaanxi Qinling Mountains found
6 wild giant panda¡¯s group Breeding first time
Mar. 2003, the researchers encountered three times of Giant Panda's group breeding near Sanguanmiao Protection Station at Foping National Nature Reserve.
The first was on March 25, with 4 giant pandas
breeding together at Yangjiawan.
The second
was on March 26, with 6 giant pandas compete
with one another for lovers at Lijiagou. It is a
miracle that they found 5 giant pandas compete
with one another for lovers on March 27 at
Huodiba, which is only 2 kilometers to Lijiagou,
where they found the 6 giant pandas on
the previous day.
Mr. Yong, the director of Panda Research Center, described the following detail about the 6 pandas
on March 26:
Totally 6 giant pandas were there at Yangjiagou, 1 adult female with 1 baby female
giant panda followed her, and 4 male adult giant pandas. When the 4 adults male pandas were severely fighting with one another for the only lover, the adult female just sitting on a branch of a
pine tree to cheer up for them.
The baby panda just sitting on another branch, watching
the scene from the beginning to the end, the fighting of the four male panda, and the breeding of the winner male with the female panda. The fighting among the four male lasted for over 2 hours.
In the end, the strongest male panda won the love of the only female.
